The Player (1992)

This used to be one of my favorite movies about  Hollywood that both intrigued and scared me about the industry.  Two decades later, it all seems pretty tame to how studios run now!   Thanks to the Movie Tourist for the heads up on two houses used in the film.

First up is the studio used in the film.   Not open to the public, I was able to get some front gate shots, and actually the side gate was just open to walk in, but thought it would be best jut to take some pics and leave...

June's house in the movie with that great front window that Griffin spies on her through...

The catalyst scene takes place at The Rilato in South Pasadena.   Here are some shots of the front of the theatre...

Here is the side and back of the theatre where the argument begins...

And the other side of the theatre where the murder happens...

And finally Griffin and June's new house at the end, I had trouble getting good shots with all the foliage...
