Child's Play 2 (1990)

There are worse sequels out there, but Child's Play 2 at least made a good effort.  I think the strongest entry is the Bride of Chucky, who knows what will happen with the planned reboot.   While the original was set in Chicago and largely filmed there, the sequel was filmed in the Los Angeles area.   I apologize in advance for the horrible screenshots, was just stealing them from YouTube!

The foster home where Andy lives is a huge house in Pasadena....

The social services center is in the downtown area.   This building is used in many productions, most notably Brothers & Sisters and the upcoming Muppet movie.

And the factory; these are "driving pictures" since I didn't bother to stop!

And the stars of the original and sequel, Catherine Hicks & Alex Vincent....

  1. Hi Robert do you know if they used the real interior of Andy's foster parents home?

  2. I think they might have used the downstairs from what I can tell, but the upstairs has an enormously long hallway that certainly can't fit into that house, so I doubt it!

  3. Pro tip: the factory at the end was an industrial building in Long Beach. I always assumed it was in Chicago until I saw it.

  4. What's the address for the building that was the Crisis Center in Child's Play 2?
